Dennis Rodman Heads To North Korea Sponsored By PotCoin

Sharethis Watershed

Former NBA player, Dennis Rodman, is heading to North Korea under the sponsorship of PotCoin, and literally nobody knows why. He has explained that he will discuss his “mission” upon his return to the United States.

Dennis Rodman: PotCoin Video

Judging from the video it would appear that Dennis Rodman’s mission might be about opening the door for both nations to work together, peace, love, or pot – we aren’t exactly sure yet, but he does explain that he is friends with both Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, and President of the United States, Donald Trump, so this should be interesting.

Also interesting – hours after Rodman arrived in North Korea, U.S. Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, stated that Otto Warmbier, a University of Virginia student, was released. Warmbier was serving a 15-year hard-labor prison sentence for trying to steal a North Korean propaganda poster, according to CNN. Although the timing is curious, Rodman explains that his purpose is not the remaining detained Americans in North Korea at this time, suggesting that he may not have been involved in Warmbier’s release after all.

What’s PotCoin?

PotCoin is basically cyber currency (similar to bitcoin), used to buy and sell marijuana in state-regulated markets. PotCoin’s reasoning for sponsoring Rodman’s trip is unknown.

Hopefully Rodman makes it back safely and lets us know more about his mission and trip to North Korea. He is expected to return to the sates on Saturday, so until then, we will wait for any tweets that may come our way.
